Captain Nick Garrett
Nick Garrett has fishy water in his veins! He was raised in South Central Alaska and has spent every free moment plying the innumerable bodies of water in search of their scaly treasures.
His entire life revolves around the water and perusing all forms of adventure on it. He broke out as a lodge hand at the age of 13 and soon worked his way into guiding. He honed his river boating skills early and moved to the salt water shortly after while commercial fishing in some of Alaska’s most rugged and spectacular areas.
Nick’s hard work and early mentorship from his Father, Grandfathers, respected Alaskan guides and pilots gave him a solid foundation to build upon. Nick has carried those lessons throughout life, and it has served him well while fishing and guiding all over the world.
Nick has handlined tuna in the Indian ocean, caught massive tarpon and fished numerous offshore tournaments in Florida and the south. But, his heart is right here in the last Frontier and you can rest assured that you will get 110% dedication to making your trip as enjoyable as possible.
Nick is a global traveler, having lived in Indonesia, and serving as an Infantryman in the US Army. He ALWAYS fishes wherever he goes and loves to learn new methods and techniques.
With over 36 years of fishing and exploring and 30 years of seamanship under his belt, you can rest assured that any time you step onto a boat with Nick, you will have a safe, informative and memorable experience.
